UK Transport - A short review of the HS2 consultation reports

We and others have been critical about the HS2 proposals. Our short review of the formal consultation documents shows that while HS2 have revised downwards their demand assumptions and economic case the alternative solutions are still not clearly explained and evaluated on a comparative basis. Our report seeks to draw these comparison out and establish the basis for further information and analysis needs.
