Welcome
Every year Government departments publish on the Internet vast amounts of information that they collect and use to develop their strategies and make their decisions. Most of us have opinions about many of these decisions but we may not take the time to fully understand them or, where we feel strongly about them, give our views.
Finding the information that is relevant to our concerns is not always easy but with the Office of National Statistics, the Department of Health, the Department of Transport or any other Government organisation the chances are if its relevant to their work and decisions it is probably publicly available.
Bluespace Thinking Ltd are dedicated to good societal decisions. Whether its decisions about a new High Speed Rail line, should energy strategy be based on the development of wind and nuclear power or the dramatic reduction of energy use? Can the UK prosper as a service economy or does the decline in manufacturing and agriculture need to be reversed? What ever the issue we would like government to make the best decisions possible.
Our mission is to help organisations find and analyse the data that is needed to help make good decisions, to consider alternatives and to look for the synergies that may exist between different plans and programmes. Sustainable development may sound like jargon but it is important, it is about doing things differently, it starts with thinking about things differently.
